Zhejiang Used Vehicle Export Conference with Cross-Border Procurement Held in Taizhou

On June 5, 2025, the Zhejiang Used Vehicle Export Development Conference and Industrial Cross-Border Procurement Matchmaking Event was successfully convened at the Taizhou International Convention Center in Luqiao District.

The event was jointly hosted by the Taizhou Municipal Government and the Luqiao District Government, with guidance from the Ministry of Commerce and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products. It attracted participation from diplomatic representatives of multiple countries and global buyers.

During the opening segment of the event, distinguished guests including Mr. Lu Yong, Vice Governor of the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province; Mr. Cheng Weibo, Vice Mayor of Taizhou Municipal People's Government; Mr. Gonzalo Talavera, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Peru in China; Mr. Shi Yonghong, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products; and Mr. Pan Chongmin, Secretary of the Luqiao District Committee, toured the outdoor vehicle exhibition area. They conducted an on-site inspection of export models, officially commencing the conference.

At the launch ceremony, Vice Governor Lu Yong of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, Vice Mayor Cheng Weibo of Taizhou Municipal People's Government, and Vice President Shi Yonghong of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products each delivered addresses. They emphasized the importance of building a comprehensive service chain to support the global expansion of usedvehicles. Mr. Gonzalo Talavera, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Peru in China, also delivered a speech expressing his country's willingness to collaborate.

The event featured the unveiling ceremony of the Taizhou Used Vehicle Alliance. Vice Mayor Cheng Weibo and Mr. Xu Chuanzheng, Chairman of KaiMotors—which serves as the alliance's Secretary-General unit—jointly unveiled the plaque.

The event also featured a live video connection with the Luqiao Used Vehicle Export Horgos Base and marked the official launch of the Luqiao Automobile Trade Complex. The ceremony included the centralized signing of three government-enterprise projects, spanning areas such as chamber of commerce collaboration, comprehensive bonded zone cooperation, and financial support.

International buyers, including from Serbia and Nigeria, flocked to the KaiMotors International booth for in-depth inquiries about new energy used vehicles and overseas services, highlighting it as a key engagement zone.

Zhejiang TV interviewed KaiMotors Group Deputy General Manager Li Huiling and Serbian buyer Jovan Dragic, discussing export growth, international market potential, new energy vehicle standards, and customs efficiency.

That afternoon, guests conducted a field inspection of the F7 Auto Plaza, which integrates comprehensive services including vehicle inspection, reconditioning, warehousing, finance, and logistics. Its dedicated used vehicle zone and intelligent export center provide a one-stop procurement platform for international buyers.

Exchanging in-depth views on export standards and overseas channels, allparties concurred that the alliance will consolidate industrial synergy, empowering Zhejiang's used vehicle enterprises to "venture overseas
collectively and expand their global presence."

Through government guidance, alliance collaboration, and enterprise coordination, this event has injected new momentum into the globalization of Zhejiang's used vehicle industry, marking the accelerated international expansion of the "Zhejiang Used Vehicles" brand.
