On May 20, 2025, to deepen the integration of industry and education and promote the synergistic development of university resources and local industries, the Entrepreneurship School of Taizhou University and KaiMotors officially signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement.
Guided by the principle of "resource sharing and mutual benefit," the two parties will jointly explore new models of university-local collaboration to support youth innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as the upgrading of local characteristic industries.
The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration across areas including the organization of innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, startup project incubation, and the joint development of practical training bases. The Entrepreneurship School of Taizhou University will leverage its talent and research resources to select outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship teams to participate in corporate project development, while encouraging students to undertake internships and practical training at the company.
KaiMotors will provide project support, safety protocols, and employment opportunities for both faculty and students, facilitating the transformation of industry-academia-research achievements. Additionally, the two sides will jointly organize exchange activities and establish an interactive school-enterprise platform, creating more growth opportunities for young students.
This initiative aims to establish a virtuous cycle where "universities empower industries, and industries give back to education" through long-term collaboration. Zhou Yao, Dean of the Entrepreneurship School at Taizhou University, stated: "University-enterprise cooperation serves as a vital pathway for cultivating application-oriented talent. We will leverage this agreement as an opportunity to channel more young, innovative talent into the wider society—particularly our outstanding international student trainees."
Wu Jijie, Chief Financial Officer of KaiMotors, emphasized: "The company's development is sustained by talent. We look forward to achieving complementary advantages through this collaboration and contributing to the high-quality development of the regional economy." Moving forward, both parties will continue to deepen their cooperation, working together to write a new chapter in industry-academia talent development and industrial innovation.
